Prince Harry Under Fire For His Stunts – 2024
Prince Harry has come under fire from a royal expert for diverting the Invictus Games’ original purpose.
Taking a shot against the Duke of Sussex, Levin said on GBN America that she thought the games were becoming “too royal” and that the veterans were not as important as the Prince and his wife Meghan Markle.
Next week, Prince Harry will visit the UK to commemorate the 0th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
On May 8, the Duke will visit his own country for the first time since Kate Middleton disclosed her cancer diagnosis.
Prince Harry will go to a church service at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Although the matches are one of Prince Harry’s “great achievements,” host Mark Dolan seemed to concur with Levin that they had gotten “imperiled” in recent years.
In response, Levin said, “It’s gotten much too royal. In addition to giving the remarks,
Meghan organized a march for former service members who had suffered injuries from the battle that was either physical, psychological, or emotional, or all three.”
“They were very upset about this, as she understands nothing about how to march,” she continued to scold the Duchess.
And I believe that’s not what they desire.
“They don’t want to hear that she was delayed three days before she could go because she had to feed her kids a milkshake.
Well, who cares to know?
“She also did a speech on how to be strong and fight against things, which was I think rather insulting.”
When Mark asked if she believes that the veterans feel the Invictus Games are now a “PR exercise for the Royal Sussexes”, Levin agreed, explaining: “I think they feel very regretful that Harry is no longer on their wave.
“He’s off thinking about Meghan, looking after her, making sure she’s all right and they’re not getting what they deserve, which is all the attention on them, not on Meghan.
“The other thing they’re upset about is they try to stay in the most expensive hotel, which takes money out of what is coming in for the victims. And I think they find they’re just really quite difficult.”
