Recalling Hy-vee Multiple Items, Salmonella Poisoning – 2024
There is a recall on Hy-Vee Cream Cheese Spreads due to potential Salmonella contamination.
However, the company has not received any reports of diseases linked to the use of these items.
West Des Moines, Iowa-based HyVee is the company that is being recalled.
These goods are produced in various Midwest-based third-party facilities and are offered for sale through Hy-Vee’s bulk packaging and private label initiatives.
HyVee was informed of the problem by the manufacturers of these goods.
The distribution of the items took place in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin at HyVee, HyVee Drugstores, and Dollar Fresh Market locations.
HyVee Fast and Fresh convenience stores also carried these.
On the FDA website, images of the recalled goods are available.
Do not consume any of the products you bought from HyVee. You have two options: either discard them or return them to the retailer for a complete refund.
If you consumed any of those HyVee Cream Cheese Spreads, keep an eye out for any signs of salmonella infection over the next week.
